Aesop's Fables (まんがイソップ物語; Manga Aesop Monogatari) is a 1983 anime film produced by Toei, the last of the world literature movie adaptations they produced in the 70s and early 80s. The film was dubbed by Turner Program Services in the mid-80s and released to home video on the Magic Window label.

Synopsis[]

Aesop is a naughty little boy who plays pranks on everyone he meets. But when he lies one too many times about a wolf, he gets chased into a magic world where, with the help of a flower elf, a mouse and a donkey, he must find his way home.
