Early Life
Angelina Jolie was born on June 4, 1975 to parents Jon Voight and Marcheline Bertrand. She briefly participated in acting but at the age of fourteen gave that up to become a funeral director. Things changed for her later when she got back into acting in the 1990s.
Career
Angelina Jolie got her start with a role in a movie of her father's in 1982 but then began acting again in the 1990s. She starred in her first feature film with Hackers in 1995. She won a Golden Globe her her performance in TNT's George Wallace in 1997. She was also given a lot of acclaim for her portrayal of a sociopath in Girl, Interrupted. She is well-known for her role as Lara Croft in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. She was nominated for the most awards for her role of Christine Collins in Changeling.
