
Billy Boyd (born 28 August 1968) is a Scottish actor and musician most widely known for playing the characters Barret Bonden in Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), and Glen in Seed of Chucky (2004).
He is critically acclaimed for his performance as Peregrin "Pippin" Took in Sir Peter Jackson's film adaptations of The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–03) and is widely acclaimed for his masterpiece songs Edge of Night (which he sung during The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)) and The Last Goodbye, which he sung for the end credits song in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies (2014).
