Blue Ruin is a 2013 American thriller written and directed by Jeremy Saulnier, and starring Macon Blair, Devin Ratray, Amy Hargreaves, Kevin Kolack, and Eve Plumb. It was screened at the both the 2013 Cannes and Toronto International Film Festival, winning the FIPRESCI Prize at Cannes.
Plot[]
A mysterious outsider's quiet life is turned upside down when he returns to his childhood home to carry out an act of vengeance. Proving himself an amateur assassin, he winds up in a brutal fight to protect his estranged family.[1]
