Bonestyx's Return is a 2020 full-length YouTube movie that was published to YouTube by 77Pacer Studios on October 7, 2020. It is the sequel to the 2010 YouTube classic Bonestyx: The Movie (2010)
The plot picks up 9 years after the events of the first Bonestyx movie. The evil Bonestyx from the previous movie has finally come back after spending 9 years exiled from the Planet Earth, and attempts to try his plan again. The fate of humanity rests in the hands of 77Pacer Studios.
Doctor Danno began typing the script of the movie on Saturday, March 11, 2017. The script would finally be completed over a year later on Tuesday, April 17, 2018. From March 2017 to September 2018, the scheduled publish date was originally slated for May 2019, which marked the 10th Anniversary of the last parts of the original parts of Return of the Black Thrasher: The Movie (2009) in May 2009. But on Sunday, September 16, 2018, it was announced that production of the movie has been delayed so much that the publish date of the movie was rescheduled for June 2020, which would mark the 10th Anniversary of the original 8-part version of Bonestyx: The Movie (2010) being published in June 2010. The target date remained as June 2020 for a while, and it seemed throughout 2019 that target date would be guaranteed to be reached. However, in July 2019 Doctor Danno's father wound up becoming extremely weak from pancreatic cancer, therefore needed Danno to be there for him as he couldn't walk without help. This caused a severe delay in production. As Danno's father got better and more independent, Danno's production pace soon picked up a bit. That is until his 16th College Semester began in late August 2019. Danno originally wanted his final project in his Monday class (DAT290) during the Fall 2019 Semester at Naugatuck Valley Community College in Waterbury, CT., but his instructor rejected his idea. Despite his best efforts, Danno was unfortunately unable to convince his instructor to allow for his original idea, therefore he was forced to do this video instead. As a result, Danno lost a huge amount of potential for huge progress made to his movie. To add to his frustrations (somewhat), Danno soon got a job as a Package Handler at Fedex Express in Stratford, CT. When the Semester ended, Danno was so frustrated and upset about his hard times during that semester that he took the Spring 2020 Semester off to take a huge break and finish up with his movie, unaware of the impending crisis that would result from the dreaded COVID-19, aka "Coronavirus" that would take place in Spring 2020. On Monday, March 11, 2020, the publish date for Bonestyx's Return was rescheduled for Wednesday, October 7, 2020. On Tuesday, April 7, 2020 (6 months before the scheduled publishing of the final film), a work print was published for the purpose of showing the movie in its then-current state to Danno's father who was sick again due to the pancreatic cancer. Sadly, Danno's father would never get the chance, as on the early morning of Wednesday, April 8, 2020, as he would head to the hospital, never to return. Danno's father sadly passed away on the night of Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. However, Danno's family would not host the funeral until the end of the COVID-19 crisis. The live action filming was finally completed on Sunday, August 2, 2020. On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Hurricane Isaias made a devastating impact on Connecticut, leaving over 700,000 residents without power. 77Pacer Studios had the misfortune of becoming among those rendered "powerless" (no pun intended). This power outage brought the overall production of Bonestyx's Return to a stop. By this time, the movie's status was around 89% complete, very close to the final but still incomplete. Doctor Danno, his mother, and his younger sister Rachel grew very desperate for the power to come back, and they never gave up hope. As luck would have it, at around 10:20 Hours on Friday, August 7, 2020, on his way home from Stop 'N Shop, Doctor Danno himself saw the Huntington Center with power restored (as indicated by him seeing the traffic lights working for the first time since the power outage struck. To add to the good news, he saw two bucket trucks at the power lines linked up to the road on which 77Pacer Studios is located. However, despite high hopes that day, power would not return until Sunday afternoon, August 9, 2020 at 17:30 Hours. Production resumed almost immediately after the restoration of power. However, a second but rather brief power outage struck 77Pacer Studios at 18:30 Hours, but power was soon restored again at 19:17 Hours. On Monday, September 21, 2020, 77Pacer Studios announced that the movie's production was 99% complete. The movie's overall footage editing would FINALLY be completed on Friday, September 25, 2020, and would receive an '80s Retro appearance makeover the following day. As soon as the '80s Retro appearance was finished, it was uploaded to YouTube, but was set to automatically publish and premiere on Wednesday, October 7, 2020.
