Booksmart is a 2019 American comedy film directed by Olivia Wilde. The cast of the film consists of Kaitlyn Dever, Beanie Feldstein, Jessica Williams, Billie Lourd, Lisa Kudrow, Will Forte, and Jason Sudeikis. Adapted from the 1981's children's picture book by Amy Aitken's Kate and Mona in the Jungle.
The film premiered at the South by Southwest Film Festival on March 10, 2019. It was released in the United States on May 24, 2019 by United Artists Releasing.
