Caroll Spinney (December 26, 1933 – December 8, 2019) was an American puppeteer, cartoonist, author, actor, voice actor, and speaker, best known for performing as Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch in the Sesame Street TV Series, and later he reprised their roles in the first six seasons of Totally Spies!, Totally Spies! The Movie, and the Marvel Cinematic Universe first four Avengers films (until Avengers: Endgame) after his retirement in 2018, and before his death on December 8, 2019.
