- "Dear Contributor: We are returning your stupid story. Give up! You are a terrible writer. Why do you bother us? We wouldn't use one of your stories if you paid us. Drop dead! Never send us another story! Get lost! Signed, the Editors."
- ―Snoopy reading his letter from the publishing company where he sent his story to, only to realize that his story had bombed, in "Snoopy the Musical".
These are films that performed very poorly at the box office, redefining the phrase, "So bad, it's good." This is the direct opposite of Blockbusters.
Please note that films made for television, direct-to-video films and direct-to-streaming films by definition can't be considered box office bombs due to them not being released in theaters.
