Cats is a 2019 British-American musical fantasy comedy-drama film directed by Tom Hooper. The cast of the film consists of Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift, James Corden, Idris Elba, Rebel Wilson, Ian McKellen, and Dame Judi Dench.
The film was released in the United States on December 20, 2019 by Universal Pictures.
Plot
Over the course of a single night, a tribe of cats called the Jellicles make what is known as "the Jellicle choice" and decide which cat will ascend to the Heaviside Layer and come back to a new life.
