Official Trailer[]
After the MPAA rating screen and the Paramount Pictures logo, a big band tune begins and we get footage of the 1973 Charlotte's Web.
- Wilbur (voice of Henry Gibson): Everybody, come see!
- Announcer: One of the most beloved stories of our time is an animated film classic cherished by young and old. (Just then, an audience cheers)
- Onlooker 1: That's some pig! (A flash occurs)
- Onlooker 2: He's terrific! (More cheering)
- Announcer: E.B. White's Charlotte's Web. (Just then, we fade to one of the backgrounds seen during "In the Dark;" a modernized logo zooms in slowly and shimmers, the VHS and DVD artwork slide in from the left, and Charlotte slides down. After a couple seconds of this, it flashes to various character sketches over a web design and a few background drawings.) Now after more than 30 years, the legacy continues for a whole new generation! Paramount Home Entertainment and Universal Home Entertainment Productions present (Cut to a shot of Zuckerman's farm, with a web over it; the film's logo spins into view) Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure, (It spins over to the VHS and DVD, with "Now on DVD & Video" next to them) exclusively on DVD and video! (Flash over to yet another farm shot, with each character being mentioned in their own spot on the web, and their name flying into view letter-by-letter) Join Wilbur and his new best friends, Cardigan the lamb, and Charlotte's three daughters, Nellie, Joy, and Aranea. (The camera starts moving towards another part of the web...) And celebrate the return of some old favorites: (...and we zoom in for sketches of the remaining characters, with their names being animated in the same manner as before) Fern, Farmer Zuckerman, Templeton the rat, and Gwen the goose. (It zooms out, and we move across the web again, this time going into a scene from the film) Take a look at what all the excitement is about in this exclusive sneak peek!
- Wilbur (voice of David Berón): (Singing) It's not so hard to be a pig
You just start in by eating big
You snort your meal and squeal and roam in mud and slurp and burp (He burps)
Eat rotten apples for dessert
Sleep in hay and play in dirt
Sit around and watch cows chewin' their cud - Cardigan (voice of Harrison Chad): Hey, this is great! (Just then, the cows confusingly look at each other)
- Wilbur: Run through corn in early morn then slide, ker-plop!
Down the hill and time for swill in a breakfast trough, slop
It's not so hard to be a pig - Cardigan: And someday when I'm really big
I'll wag my curly tail just like you do
I like cats, and I like dogs
And I belong with fours and ones - Wilbur and Cardigan: And I belong with friends like me and you!
- Wilbur: If you want to be a pig
Use your nose and start to dig
Inside a pile of garbage while you snort, hey, I'll show you! - Announcer: This fun, all-new feature-length adventure brings them all together in a classic tale of friendship, caring, and what it means to be different. Beautifully animated by Nickelodeon Studios and featuring four new songs, this tale continues and is more dazzling than ever. All the heart, wisdom, and enchantment of the original Charlotte's Web return (Flash over to a still frame of Wilbur and Cardigan, with a web over it, and the logo and boxes spinning into view) in Charlotte's Web 2: Wilbur's Great Adventure, a must-have in every child's video library! (The following text is then seen, with the first line spinning into view and the others fading) A new classic is being spun, exclusively on DVD & video, available now!
- Wilbur and Cardigan: ...I'll be a friend
We'll be buddies to the end
Most of all, I'll be a friend to you!
We then crossfade to a blue background, with a logo slowly zooming in. It consists of Wilbur and Cardigan in a hay wreath, with Charlotte's daughters around it, and a red ribbon underneath reading "The Story Continues." Underneath that is the logo, with "on VHS & DVD" underneath "Web." It crossfades to a billing block, and the trailer ends there.
