Clementine Kruczynski is a free-spirited young woman living in a great and cheap apartment in New York City for the past four years. She works as a bookstore clerk and is known for her constantly changing hair color, with orange hair with blue streaks being her current style.

She has a negative view of relationships and believes that "Too many guys think I'm a concept or I complete them or I'm going to make them alive, but I'm just a [screwed] up girl who is looking for my own peace of mind."
