Clyde Geronimi was an Italian-American animator and animated film director. He worked closely with Walt Disney starting in 1931 and he remained with Disney until 1959. He was one of the main directors for the films Cinderella (1950), Sleeping Beauty (1959), Alice in Wonderland (1951) and he won an award for his short film, Lend A Paw in 1941. He died 48 years later, in 1989 at Newport Beach, California.
