DIC Entertainment aka DiC was a Belgian-French-American animation studio based in Burbank, California that focused on the production of animated material. They are best known for Inspector Gadget, the first English version of Sailor Moon and Sabrina the Animated Series.
The Walt Disney Company owned DIC through a Limited Partnership through DIC's CEO Andy Heyward from 1996 to 2000. In 2007 it was bought by Canadian company Cookie Jar, which in turn was bought by DHX Media Vancouver.
