The search for Eddy's Brother
Plot[]
Ed, Edd, and Eddy's latest moneymaking scam went horribly wrong and left Peach Creek Lane in a state of silent wreckage. The neighborhood kids are wounded, except for Sarah and Jimmy, and they try to rid the Eds once and for all. The panicked Eds take shelter in Eddy's Brother's room after the kids found them. Eddy smashes a fire-alarm like box marked as "In case of movie, break glass." Ed deliberately moves Eddy's Brother's car with the kids in hot pursuit. After narrowly escaping in a wasteland and the car crashes then destroyed, the Eds go on a quest to search Eddy's Brother for sanctuary. Kevin figures out what the Eds planned to do. The kids refuse to ignore the mishap and go on a manhunt for the Eds before they reach their destination.
Kevin and Nazz travel on Kevin's prized bike. Rolf compiles overflowing luggage riding on the back of his pig Wilfred. Jonny dons his respective superhero alter-ego "Captain Melonhead" while catching up to the Eds in a city bus that Plank hijacked. Sarah and Jimmy seek to have a picnic just to watch the Eds get clobbered. When the Kanker Sisters Lee, Marie and May find out what the kids plan on doing to the Eds, they also set off to protect their "boyfriends" from the kids' wrath. However, the kids eventually face hindrance on the road: Wilfred abandons Rolf tired of his abrasive actions, Nazz is irritated of Kevin prioritizing his bike over her, and the Kankers enslave Sarah and Jimmy until they escape.
In the meantime, the Eds wander aimlessly under Eddy's direction in a cattle field. Edd aka Double D profiles Eddy's Brother and figures that given his con artistry he would likely be found at a place involving practical tricks. Ed uses one of his 10-year-old comic books to suggest the trio of going to the Lemon Brook Gag Factory in a nearby town through a tall sunflower field. Upon arriving they find the factory dilapidated. While playing around, the factory then explodes with spring-snakes.
After leaving the factory, Eddy mutters his brother was once a "whaler." Double D assumes Eddy's Brother must reside near the sea, so he builds a duck boat to ride the river to the sea. The boat got wrecked when the river ends in a swamp. Infuriated Eddy just wants to impress his brother; after a humiliating prank, Double D lashes at Eddy in a rare moment of strength (and Ed who wasn't any of help) and decides to return home and face the consequences instead. Ed bawls over their damaged friendship. Eddy is initially upset, but also cries and even admitting for the first time that he is to blame for everything. Double D forgives him and the trio continues their journey.
The next morning, the Eds come across a coastal theme park called Mondo A-Go Go which Double D links to a postcard Eddy got from his brother. The Eds conclude they have successfully located his brother, living in a trailer resembling a whale. Just as Eddy about to knock on the door however, the Kankers and the kids they have captured, arrive. Including Sarah and Jimmy with Wilfred. Eddy then knocks on the trailer door, and his brother reveals himself. Although his brother originally seems to be everything the kids imagined, he turns out to be physically abusive who torments Eddy mercilessly without reason, leaving everyone appalled. When Double D tries to talk him out of harming Eddy any further, Eddy's Brother dismissively uses Eddy to slam Double D on the ground. The other kids begin to defend Eddy. Ed finds the wisdom and bravery to send a door flying at Eddy's Brother and knocks him unconscious. Ashamed, Eddy expresses remorse and reveals that everything he had ever said about his brother was a lie. Because his brother's misguided ways made him an insecure character, Eddy conducted scams in an unsuccessful attempt to gain respect and social acceptance throughout the series. Touched by Eddy's confession and apology, the kids forgive and accept the Eds as friends; even Sarah decides to be nicer to Ed, seeing having him as a brother isn't too bad. And then Jonny and Plank finally show up, who missed out on what just happened, attack the Eds. In response, the other kids retaliate at Jonny and Plank. Kevin invites everybody over for jawbreakers and return home, while the Kankers drag Eddy's Brother into his trailer. Double D labels the TV screen "The End" concluding their misadventures.
In the post-credits, Jonny, and Plank, annoyed after becoming an outcast, abandon their alter-egos personas and adopt super villain alter-egos, but Plank tells him there is no time left in the movie, to which Jonny replies "What movie?"
