Finney Blake is a fictional character appearing in the 2022 film The Black Phone. He is portrayed by Mason Thames.
Biography[]
Finney Blake was suddenly kidnapped by a serial killer and trapped inside of a basement which cannot be penetrated by sound. Finding a disconnected phone, Finney discovers its ability to transmit the voices of the previous victims of The Grabber, who attempt to help him escape by telling him ways they attempted to escape and how to avoid getting caught by the Grabber. Ultimately, Finney is able to escape by snapping the Grabber’s neck with the phone’s cord after his victims taunt him through the phone.
