Frozen III is an upcoming American 3D computer-animated adventure-comedy/drama fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures. It serves as a sequel to Frozen II and the third installment of the Frozen franchise, It was released in the U.S. on November 24, 2027 and will be the 65th animated feature in the Disney Animated Canon. The film will be written by Jennifer Lee and directed by Chris Buck.

Production[]
On February 8, 2023, during the Q1 earnings call, Bob Iger confirmed that a third Frozen film is in development.[4] By August 9, it was delayed to November 24, 2027.[5]
Trivia[]
- Not counting the sequels produced by Disneytoon Studios, this will mark the first trilogy in the Disney Animated Canon, as well as the third animated one from Disney overall to be theatrical instead of being direct-to-video, the others being Toy Story and Cars from Pixar.
