The Golden Globe award is an accolade bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA), recognizing excellence in film and television. Announced annually, the dinner and the formal ceremony are presented as a major part in the film industry.
The latest addition was the 74th Golden Globe Awards, broadcasted live on January 8, 2017, and hosted by Jimmy Fallon, in commemoration and honoration of the best of films and television in 2016. Amongst the winners included The Night Manger, The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, and La La Land.
