
Hanna-Barbera Productions, Inc. was an American cartoon studio founded by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera and is perhaps best known for production the adventures of Tom and Jerry and The Flintstones. Hanna-Barbera that operated from 1951 to 2001. Hanna-Barbera the other company title characters including The Flintstones, Tom and Jerry and other Hanna-Barbera characters. H-B Productions produced numerous animated television series and various animated feature films, as well as the theatrical cartoon short series, Loop De Loop.
Since their closure in 2001, Hanna-Barbera has been used in name only to promote films based on H-B properties and characters.
