Hannah Beatriz Dunne (born April 8, 1990) is an American actress. She is the daughter of actor Griffin Dunne and actress Carey Lowell. She is the granddaughter of writer and former producer Dominick Dunne, niece of the late actress Dominique Dunne, and grandniece of writers Joan Didion and John Gregory Dunne.
Early life[]
Hannah Dunne was born on April 8, 1990, in Raleigh, North Carolina, during the production of Once Around, a film her father produced.
Her parents divorced in 1995. She became the stepdaughter of Richard Gere, and has a half-brother, Homer, from her mother’s subsequent marriage to Gere.
Career[]
In 1997, Dunne had a brief uncredited part in Addicted to Love, which was directed by her father. Aside from this role, she would not perform publicly again until the late 2000’s.
Dunne is most notable for her role as Lizzie Campbell in Mozart in the Jungle. In late 2016, she played Emma Horton in a play adaptation of Terms of Endearment, alongside Molly Ringwald.
