Hauer is the supporting antagonist of Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture. He is the eldest son of Jimmy and Bonnie Blitzer, the oldest brother of Layla, Noah, and Julia Blitzer and is a servant to Laocorn Gaudeamus. He also possesses the power of aerokinesis.

Appearance[]

Hauer is a young man with muscular build who has white hair and light brown eyes. He has a gold mask on his face.

Armor[]

Hauer wears a white armor that consists a white vest with yellow lines and blue dots, black shirt, white genie pants with gold anklets, white bandages around his feet, gold bracelets around his wrists, and a black choker.

Personality[]

Hauer is a narcissistic individual that is obsessed with beauty. Besides that quirk, he can be sadistic and can be often playing with people's minds such as when he did to Andy by nearly kissing Mai, angering him. He isn't interested in fair fights and doesn't care about honor, as he is only interested in winning by any means necessary.

Despite his cruel heart, Hauer loves his family and would often care for them greatly. In the post-credits scene of the 2010 reboot of Fatal Fury, he becomes kind-hearted when he comes upon Athena Asamiya, who asks him for help since she can't find a way to find Blue Mary's house. Hauer agrees to help her, as he loves helping others with lots of kindness. Rose Bernstein describes him as the prince of her dreams, and is shown to have great interest in her for decorating the house with roses. They share love for them and also a dislike for weak people.

History[]

Past[]

Manga and 2010 reboot[]

Hauer was born on May 8 as the eldest child and son of Jimmy and Bonnie Blitzer. Jimmy was 23 and Bonnie was 18 when he was born. He lived with his parents in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, until the age of 5, when he and his parents moved to Lisbon, Portugal, where his siblings, Layla, Noah, and Julia, were born when he was 7, 9, and 10, respectively. At the age of 4, he met Zero, and they would play often.

"(Athena: That's you in the picture with your parents and siblings!) I know, right? That's my father, Jimmy, my mother, Bonnie, me, my younger sister, Layla, my younger brother, Noah, and my dear youngest sister, Julia. (Athena: That's because Julia is the youngest of the Blitzer siblings?) Mhm. That's correct."
―Athena Asamiya and Hauer

At age 15, after finishing middle school, his father enrolled him in D. Pedro V High School, where he met Zero again.

"When I was 4, I used to visit Zero often. We would also play together! After I was revived, I had a crush on you, my dear Rose Bernstein, whom I would share love for roses with you."
―Hauer

At Mai's 5th birthday, he was surprised at Mai kissing Andy on the cheek as a token of thanks for gifting her a present. At Mai's 6th and Andy's 8th birthdays, respectively, both were fatally injured by a fire. Hauer then cured them and implanted them with fire eggs that prevented heartaches and injuries.

―Athena Asamiya and Hauer

At age 15, after finishing middle school, his father enrolled him in D. Pedro V High School, where he met Zero again.

"I want to apologize for doing bad deeds when I became Laocorn's servant. Mai, Andy, you two are a good couple. You team up to defeat enemies. Whatever I do, I won't hurt your feelings."
―Hauer

At Mai's 5th birthday, he was surprised at Mai kissing Andy on the cheek as a token of thanks for gifting her a present. Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture[]

The man covers his face with his hand

Hauer at the beginning of the movie.

When Cheng is ready to drive away, he sees Hauer (who slices his jeep) on top of a pole. Hauer was seen with Jamin and Panni after Cheng drives away from them. After Cheng gets hit in the stomach by Laocorn, Hauer kneels down to serve for Laocorn, along with Jamin. Laocorn, impressed that there are only three more pieces of armor to go, jumps up and uses his power to destroy the cave. He then overhears Laocorn saying that the Armor of Mars will be his and that he will become a God when he possesses them all.

Hauer states that they face another bunch of unworthy opponents as he cleans his gold mask

"So we face another bunch of unworthy opponents."

Hauer, along with Jamin (who meditates), is seen in a secret room, fixing his mask, while in the next scene, he is cleaning his mask. Panni orders Hauer and Jamin to split up so they could find Sulia's friends and states that they will capture the armor when they see their chance. Hauer states that the fighters must fight fair and square and not to kick them when down. He also states that victory is everything and a man with a weak spirit is no menace, but Laocorn dismisses him. Laocorn orders them to find the armor and that they must crush them if anyone should get in their way. They agree to serve him.

Hauer and Mai Shiranui

Hauer and Mai.

Later, Hauer arrives at The King of Dancing night club, where he is seen as a shadow before Andy and Billy get into a hand-to-hand combat. Billy uses the staff to tap the glass, while Andy jumps away from it. Then, as it shatters, the shadow's form is revealed to be Hauer, who holds a glass of red wine! This confrontation stops Mai's performance and Mai is shocked to find out what is going on. Hauer is disappointed when Mai's performance was interrupted and thinks that Andy and Billy are the ones who interrupted it. He drinks the red wine and jumps up, using his wind powers to shatter the glass and is then seen behind Mai and calls her exquisite when Mai hears a voice behind her and turns around to see him. Enraged at Mai saying that he is not as cute as Andy, he tells Andy that the next time they meet, they will see who is the stronger, and the most beautiful. He then disappears with a strong gust of wind, accidentally destroying the nightclub.

Hauer tells Andy that losing a loved one would hurt at first as he turns Mai's head towards him

"Losing a loved one hurts at first, darling."

Hauer is seen as a silhouette when Mai feels a gentle wind blow. He uses his wind powers to slice her outfit, scaring her, and revealing her identity in front of him. She confronts him about the armor, then he asks what if he were, and finally, Mai tells him that she of the Shiranui school must teach him a lesson and uses Kacho-sen against him, kicks him through his feet, and uses Ryuen Bu against him, leading to her winning the one-round victory. After Mai's second-round defeat, she is taken hostage. Andy realizes what is going on and is ordered by Hauer to put the box on the ground. After Andy is sent backward, Mai tries to run to reach him, but Hauer grabs her and taunts Andy before kissing her, enraging Andy, who is furious at Hauer's feelings towards Mai and yells at him to stop, but is beaten, shocking Mai.

Hauer overhears Laocorn talking about Sulia and her pendant

Hauer overhears Laocorn talking about Sulia and her pendant.

Hauer is holding a cup of coffee when Laocorn charges up with the Armor of Mars (excluding the crown). While Laocorn will plan to search for the mask, Panni tells him that they have no leads. Laocorn informs them of the key inside Sulia's pendant and orders them to bring Sulia and her pendant to him. Hauer overhears this idea.

Hauer says that he has no interest in armor or ideals

Hauer states that he has no interest in armor or ideals.

On the cliff washed up by water, Panni states that Sulia and her accomplices are on their way to Israel. Hauer states that this is where the last piece of the armor was, while Jamin states that he does not think this battle is necessary. Panni says that those are Laocorn's orders and have fought this far, fighting for the ideals he's proposed. Hauer says that maybe she does, but has no interest in armor or ideals. Angrily, Panni yells out Hauer's name, prompting Jamin to be silent and states why Laocorn is so obsessed with finding the Armor of Mars and states that true strength is found in holding one's fighting abilities. Panni states that Laocorn's power is becoming far more than human and says that they must do as they're told and fetch him his precious Sulia.

Hauer tells Mai to think what might happen if she resists

Hauer tells Mai that there will be consequences if she resists.

Hauer is seen as a silhouette with the purple eye, along with Jamin with the orange eye. After Mai calls out to the Bogard brothers, he tells her not to waste her breath. He is seen outside with Jamin and tells her that if she gives Sulia to them, they will leave her be, but warns her to think what might happen if she resists. As Mai is ready to fight him, Sulia tearfully says that she will do whatever they want and that they do not want to hurt anyone. Mai tries to warn Sulia, claiming that she doesn't want to trust them, but Sulia says that she will not worry about herself and goes to them. Then she tells Mai to give Terry a message for her. Stopped, Sulia says to Hauer that if they do anything to them, she will kill herself. Hauer says that there is no need for melodrama and asks Jamin to return Sulia to Laocorn. Jamin agrees and disappears with Sulia into the night and to Lord Laocorn.

Andy crushes Hauer's face with Zan Ei Ken

Andy defeats Hauer.

After Jamin disappears with Sulia, Panni appears behind Mai and starts to torture her by choking her with one hand, making her unable to breathe, and the other on her hair. Panni calls her a "pretty, pretty ninja girl" and says that it's such a pity she should leave them. Hauer is ready to prepare his power when he notices Andy, who arrives on time to save Mai. Mai decides to free herself from Panni's grasp and falls to her knees, coughing, as she is getting choked harder by Panni.

Hauer coughs up blood and dies from his injuries

Hauer's death.

Andy battles both Hauer and Panni alone, as Mai watches Andy battle him. Hauer's face is crushed by Andy's Zan Ei Ken that breaks his gold mask and falls to the ground, injured. After Mai defeats Panni, leaving Andy shocked and pleased at Mai's heroic deeds, Hauer, injured, but still alive, jumps up, ready to kill him, but Andy slaps him to the ground, and strikes a pose. Hauer then tries to get up, but coughs up blood and dies from his injuries. He is the second villain to die in the movie.
