If a Tree Falls: A Story of the Earth Liberation Front is a documentary film by filmmaker Marshall Curry and Sam Cullman, exploring the origins, motives, and organization of the Earth Liberation Front and Eco-terrorism in general. Additionally, it explains how the Department of Justice was able to find and arrest Daniel McGowan and his co-conspirators in a nationwide sweep in December, 2005 and raises questions as to whether or not they deserved to be sentenced as "terrorists."
