In Darkness is a 2011 Polish drama film directed by Agnieszka Holland. The story is based on a true incident in Nazi-occupied Poland, and the film has been selected as the Polish entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards. The film was also the first full-length film shown at the 23rd Polish Film Festival in America in Chicago on the Opening Night Gala. This film is dedicated to Marek Edelman. It was released in the US on February 10th, 2012.
