Inferno is a 1980 Italian supernatural horror film directed by Dario Argento. The film is the second in The Three Mothers trilogy, being the sequel to Suspiria. The film was followed by Mother of Tears.
Plot[]
Poet Rose Elliot learns of the Three Mothers, three evil sisters who rule the world, through a book. Suspecting that one of them, Mater Tenebrarum, lives in her apartment building, and urges her brother Mark, who is studying in Rome, to come and visit.
