Jason Clarke, born July 17, 1969 in Australia, is an actor. He has been active since 1995. He has had roles in the films Rabbit-Proof Fence (2002), Death Race (2008), Public Enemies (2009), and Lawless (2012). He has starred in the television series Brotherhood and The Chicago Code.
He played Rhode Island politician Tommy Caffee in Brotherhood from 2005 to 2009. He played veteran Chicago detective Jarek Wysocki in The Chicago Code for its single season in 2011. He teamed with Australian director John Hillcoat to star in the 2012 period crime drama Lawless as 1920s bootlegger Howard Bondurant.
