Plot
Former child star Mikey Chapman (Michael J. Fox) becomes a kids' talent agent and is desperate to find a way to keep his talent agency from going under.
After meeting Angie Vega (Christina Vidal), a young street-wise pickpocket, he turns her into a TV commercial star.

Critical Reception
The movie received generally negative reviews.
Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports that 22% of the 9 critics gave the film a positive review, with 2 fresh and 7 rotten reviews with a rating average of 3.9 out of 10 and 39% of the audience liked it based on more than 8500 ratings.
Roger Ebert gave the movie two stars, saying, "I left the movie wondering why the screenplay was even considered filmable. There's nothing compelling about it, nothing original," but he praised Christina Vidal's performance, saying, "She's a bright, no-nonsense type who plants her feet and delivers her lines and looks Fox square in the eye."
In Rita Kempley (from the Washington Post)'s review of the movie, she called it "camp and cutesy all at the same time, like a kiddie-car ride down "Sunset Boulevard" with an aging Gary Coleman behind the wheel."
