Linda Gary (November 4, 1944-October 5, 1995) was a notable voice-over artist for many animated projects.

Gary was (and still is) one of the most popular voice-over artists in the modern era of animation. While viewers might not have remembered her face (in fact, she only appeared in two live-action films, 1977's Journey To Nowhere and 1980's Cruising with Al Pacino), they do remember her youthful voice.

Among Gary's credits were Hanna-Barbera's Scooby-Doo and Smurfs series, Disney's Darkwing Duck and Tale Spin, Batman: The Animated Series, and three films in the Land Before Time series. She also did voice-overs for many live-action films and television series.

But the bulk of Gary's work was with the Filmation studio. Both she and good friend Ed Asner contributed to many Filmation projects, such as the He-Man and She-Ra series (she simultaneously contributed the voices of Teela, Evil-Lyn, the Sorceress of Grayskull and, originally, Queen Marlena), and feature film sequels such as Happily Ever After and Secret Of The Sword. She also played the lead character in Filmation's Web Woman.

Gary died due to brain cancer in 1995.

Linda Gary also gave voice to "Dr. Maura Cassidy," Research Director of the International Space Authority's orbiting Space Station STARLAB on the popular science fiction radio series Alien Worlds. Working together with fellow actors Cory Burton, Bruce Phillip Miller and Roger Dressler, the weekly 30-minute drama series produced by Watermark Inc. (original producers of American Top 40) lasted 30 episodes (the last four were unaired on commercial radio) between 1979 and 1981.
