Summary[]
The film follows the story of a famous fictional stand-up comedian Manny Lewis, who connects with millions of fans but finds it hard to connect to one person. Manny struggles to overcome his sense of alienation and shyness, and a difficult relationship with his father, in a romantic and feel-good quest for the love of the quirky Maria.

- After stand up comedy, Carl Barron went back to his roots as a roof tiler, a job he said he hated. This is one of the reasons he wanted to star in a feature film.
- Carl stated during his live stand-up, that he never wanted to act ever again, due to his experience acting in this film. The director asked him to stop mumbling multiple times.
