Oh! You love Harry Potter films too? Do you know that a new sequel trilogy will be released in 2016, 2018 and 2020, temporarily named as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, just the same as the charity book that J.K. Rowling wrote!
I just hope he doesn't add in characters and stuff that weren't in the book in The Simarillion like he did with The Hobbit.
And yes, I am a huge fan of the Harry Potter films, so I definetely see those films! :-) I will also see the new Star Wars spin-off film directed by Gareth Edwards, who directed one of my fav movies, Godzilla (2014).
And I think Master of Lake-town died in a sad way! He was smashed and drowned by Smaug's dead body! A little bit pity, as I thought he will die in a similar way to the book! And Alfrid survived in a very lucky way!
And I love the character--Percy! I think he is the linkage of some important scenes! Like Bard was intercepted by Afrid, he contrasted that Lake-towers like Bard but not Master. And he yelled that Bard killed the dragon, which was did by some unnamed man in the books! So I think he is a good additional character.
No, I am a Hong Konger! But Avengers 2 had also been released. And my friends and I are dicussing about the Infinity Gems, since there are 6 in the comics while 5 was shown in the films(Thanos got 2, Vision got 1, the whole gang of the Guardians of the Galaxy got 1 and the Collector got 1). So we are all curious about the last gem and what is going to happen in Avengers 3. And I am going to watch Water Diviner during weekends.
Moreover, we are talking about JARVIS and Vision. Most of us(including myself) would like to see JARVIS than Vision. As Vision was created, we afraid that JARVIS will not return in other Marvel films. What do you think?
Hey, buddy. What's going on? I've got some great news about the 41st Saturn Awards this year for the films of 2014!
Richard Armitage has won the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance as Thorin II Oakshield in The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. The Battle of the Five Armies has also won Best Fantasy Film.
Chris Pratt wins Best Actor for his performance as Peter Quill / Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.
Dracula Untold wins Best Costume and Best Horror Film (I saw that the other day and it was amazing).
Whiplash wins Best Independent Film and The Theory of Everything wins Best International Film.
Interstellar wins Best Science Fiction Film, Best Special Effects and Best Music for Hans Zimmer.
The LEGO Movie wins Best Animated Feature (thank you, Saturns, for not screwing that film like the Oscars did).
Guardians of the Galaxy also wins Best Comic-to-Film Motion Picture as well as Best Makeup.
Rene Russo wins Best Supporting Actress for her performance in Nightcrawler and Rosamund Pike wins Best Actress for Gone Girl.
Sorry, I think I miss your last message about your film review. Well, I think Richard Armitage isn't a supporting but major character lol. But I think he really did well in the 2nd and 3rd film. Before The Hobbit, my memory to him is a second-line or even third-line character, like HYDRA agent in Captain America 1, etc. So I think he deserves it.
Secondly, Chris Pratt! I guess he will not achieve Saturn only in 2014, but 2015 (Jurassic World) and 2017 (Possibly, Indiana Jones).
Dracula Untold...hmm...I was astonished too. At first, I thought it was Christopher Lee's (So sad about his death) film. But after a second thought I finally realized that's Luke Evans one. Well, personlly I don't like Dracula's costume. And it isn't stunning at all.
Interstellar is a good film. Just I don't know why many people say they misunderstand the plot.
The LEGO Movie! I am thinking the same thing with you. How can LEGO Movie failed to achieve Best Animation and Soundtracks. I think Everything is Awesome is much better than Let It Go. So you're right, "I am so pumped up!"
Guardian of the Galaxy is only a fair and simple Marvel film. There are many jokes. So I can understand the Comic to film award but I don't think it deserves Best-Makeup awards though. Groot or Rocket Racoon or Ronan are all CGI lol.
Reno Russo is nice while Rosamund Pike is...not bad only. There're many actress better than her truly.
And I didn't watch Whiplash before. I'll try to find and watch it now.
Whiplash is a fantastic film and last year's biggest film. I loved that film, I definitely recommend you see it. I've seen a million times!
Yeah I agree with you on all your statements. And yeah, Chris Pratt probably will get the Saturn for Jurassic World (I haven't seen it yet, though) and maybe even for Indiana Jones (he would be excellent in that role).
As for Ronan, no his face was actual makeup.
Rene Russo was great in Nightcrawler. I thought you should know about Rosamund Pike just in case you saw Gone Girl. I haven't but I've heard a lot about it.
Interstellar. Now, I definitely did get the plot, I understood, but there were some scenes where I was, like, in and out, and I went through a weird phase. Like the wormhole plot twist with the bookcase shit. I did not fall for that and I thought that was one of the most ridiculous and ludicrious plot twists ever in a film. And I did not like the ending, seeing as Cooper has just now left his dying daughter (who he's being trying to find throughout the entire film) and now he's going to find Anne Hathaway instead. I love the film, but I just hate the way Chris Nolan ended that film.
Dracula Untold I thought his costume was pretty awesome, though not entirely suiting for the character.
And yeah, I heard Sir Christopher Lee passed away. I said my farewells to him on Villains Wikia. He was one of my favourite actors ever and played some of my favourite villains of all time. RIP to one of the greats.
Christopher Lee is definitely a good actor. It's terrible to hear this news.
Well, I have watched Jurassic World last week. Not bad, some scenes are awesome, like the I-Rex broke out, Bird-Cage, etc. But I think there're too many deaths and all of the minor characters die in pain. But the ending shows that a sequel must be released in the future.
And I am going to the premiere of Terminator 2 days later. I guess this time will be nice as its trailer is catchy.
I didn't see that mid-credits scene. Shame. Aw well.
I gave Terminator: Genisys a full 10/10 on iMDB! It did have it's flaws, but it's not as bad as everyone says.
I loved it because of how it refreshes the franchise after the dissapointment of the third and the fourth ones and because it also honours James Cameron's first two classics. Even he loved the film too.
