Mr. Deeds is a 2002 American comedy film directed by Steven Brill and starring Adam Sandler and Winona Ryder. The movie is a remake of the 1936 Frank Capra film, Mr. Deeds Goes to Town and also stars Peter Gallagher, John Turturro, Allen Covert and Steve Buscemi. The movie was produced by Happy Madison and New Line Cinema and distributed by Columbia Pictures.
