[We open on a party going on at the Roar Omega Roar fraternity in Monsters University.]
Monster 1: Let's party!
Chet: Yeah!
[Meanwhile, at the Oozma Kappa fraternity, nobody has come to their party. Only the members are sitting in their seats.]
Terri: Maybe they all wanna be fashionably late?
Terry: Oh, face it, guys. No one's coming to our first frat party.
Squishy: This is gonna be the worst night of our lives.
[Suddenly, Mike and Sulley burst in.]
Mike: This is gonna be the best night of our lives!
[Nobody is enthusiastic. Terri blows a party horn weakly.]
Sulley: Aw, cheer up, guys. We thought this might happen.
Mike: And that is why we came prepared.
[Mike sets down a bag, a walkie talkie, and a door.]
Squishy: Aah! A door station?! Where did you get a door station?!
Mike: (on com) Beach Ball to Throw Rug. Come in. Are you in position?
[Cut to Sulley setting up another door in the Roar Omega Roar fraternity party.]
Sulley: (on com) Roger that, Beach Ball. Operation Party Central is a go.
[Cut back to Oozma Kappa.]
Squishy: Mike, what's going on?
Mike: Just wait.
[At the Roar Omega Roar party, Sulley takes a cooler full of drinks and opens the door to enter a bedroom, where parents are sleeping. As he tries to walk quietly, he stops to see the mother turning but still sleeping. He sneaks out of the room and into the Oozma Kappa party.]
Mike: We're not just gonna throw the biggest party of the year…
Sulley: (chuckles) We're gonna steal it.
[Back at the Roar Omega Roar party…]
Monster 2: The girl was totally eyeing me. Like, all five eyeballs right at me.
Monster 3: I know, I saw that, too.
[They stop to notice a slice of pizza lying on the floor.]
Monster 2: Hey!
[They eat the trail of pizza leading to the door. Art quickly closes it.]
Art: (on com) Fuzzy Rainbow to Beach Ball, I'm sending some your way.
[He picks up the door and carries it off. The monsters continue to eat the pizza trail while moving past the sleeping parents.]
Mom: Roll over, honey. You're snoring.
[They arrive at the Oozma Kappa party.]
Mike: Welcome to Party Central!
[Squishy offers them a box of pizza.]
Monster 2: All right!
Monster 3: Cool!
[Cut to the Roar Omega Roar party, one monster crushes a soda can on his forehead and his fellow monsters cheer.]
Art: Hey, man, I saw your girlfriend making out with some slug in the closet.
Monster 4: Janelle? Whoa!
[He and his friends rush through the door, running past the parents.]
Monster 4: Janelle! Baby!
[As Art closes the door, the mother wakes up for a moment, asking her husband.]
Mom: Who's Janelle?
[At the ROR party, a monster slides down the stairs on a tray. He falls through the door, covered up in a carpet by Art. He falls into the Oozma Kappa party, where Don offers him drinks.]
Don: Well, hello!
[Then, Art traps two more monsters and Sulley pulls the skateboard below them, flinging them to the slide monster on the couch in the Oozma Kappa party.]
Monster 5: All right! Righteous! (they high-five)
Squishy: (to Mike) I think it's working!
Monster 6: This party's lame. Where are all the girls?
Squishy: Give me! (grabs the walkie talkie and speaks into it) We need girls!
[Back at the Roar Omega Roar party…]
Female Monster: (groans) This party's lame. Where are all the guys?
[Art pushes their couch through the door and into the Oozma Kappa party.]
Mike: Ladies.
Female Monster: Hi, there.
[At the ROR party, Terri, Terry, and Art get more partygoers in a limbo trick with Art slamming the door over each monster.]
Terri and Terry: How low can you go?
Art: Goodbye!
Terri and Terry: How low can you go?
Art: Adios!
Terri and Terry: How low can you go?
[The limbo monsters walk past the parents, and Mike and Art shut the doors just as the mother wakes up.]
Mom: Henry, wake up! Something just went into the closet.
Dad: There's nothing in our closet, dear.
[Then, Art uses the door to bring in a table of food from the Roar Omega Roar party.]
Sulley: Food's here!
[The partygoers cheer and grab some snacks. Back at the Roar Omega Roar party….]
Johnny: All right! Let's get this party… (notices everyone’s gone) Where'd everybody go?
[We see all of the monsters partying at Oozma Kappa’s place.]
Chet: This is the best party ever! Yeah!
[Inside the house, Squishy dances to party music.]
Monsters: (chanting) Go Squishy! Go Squishy! Go Squishy! Go Squishy! Go Squishy!
[Suddenly, his mom walks in on the party as the lights are turned on.]
Ms. Squibbles: Scott Sebastian Squibbles! What is going on here?
Squishy: Mom? It's not what it looks like.
Ms. Squibbles: (gasps to see the door) Is that a door station? Are you boys doorjamming?
Squishy: No, no, no! Mom, Mom. We were just... What's doorjamming?
[Cut to two doors being set on the ground as Sherri is on the roof, cheering while holding a fear canister.]
Monsters: (chanting) Sherri! Sherri! Sherri! Sherri! Sherri! Sherri!
Squishy: Mom! I don't think this is a good idea!
[She fires the canister at a pile of stuff, setting off a bonfire. In the parents' bedroom, this wakes up the mother.]
Mom: Okay, that's it. There definitely is something in there.
Dad: (wakes up) All right, fine. You want me to check, I'll check.
[Cut back in the monster world...]
Sherri: Yeah!
[She gets on a skateboard and skates down the roof. In the bedroom…]
Dad: How many times do I have to tell you?
[In the monster world, Sherri flies off the roof.]
Dad: There's nothing in our closet.
[When he opens the door, he sees the monsters having a party. Sherri flies in and out of the bedroom through both doors, shocking the parents. She makes it out, a bit burned but okay. The monsters all cheer for Sherri.]
Squishy: Mom! That was awesome!
Monster 7: Who's pledging Oozma Kappa?
[The partygoers all cheer and party on. Roll credits. Then, after the credits, the mom and dad visit their son’s bedroom.]
Mom: Timmy, can we sleep with you tonight?
Dad: There's monsters in our closet!
Timmy: That's what I've been trying to tell you!
[Cut to black. The short ends.]
