Poltergeist (2015) is an American 3D supernatural fantasy horror thriller film directed by Gil Kenan, written by David Lindsay-Abaire, and starring Sam Rockwell, Jared Harris, Rosemarie DeWitt, Saxon Sharbino, Kyle Catlett, Kennedi Clements, Nicholas Braun and Jane Adams. It is a remake of the 1982 film of the same name. Currently, the film is scheduled for theatrical release in the United States on May 22, 2015.
Plot[]
Legendary filmmaker Sam Raimi and director Gil Kenan re-imagine and contemporize the classic tale about a family whose suburban home is invaded by angry spirits. When the terrifying apparitions escalate their attacks and take the youngest daughter, the family must come together to rescue her.
