Robert Forster (born July 13, 1941 in Rochester, New York) is an American actor. He starred in the Quentin Tarantino crime drama Jackie Brown (1997) as bail bondsman Max Cherry. He has also appeared in Mulholland Drive (2001), Me, Myself and Irene (2000) and The Descendants (2011). He has had starring roles in the science fiction television series Heroes (2008) and Alcatraz (2012).
