Sterling Entertainment Group, also known as United American Video or UAV, was an American home video producer and distributor. Founded in 1984 as United American Video, UAV grew to be one of the biggest independent video companies in the United States. They changed their name to Sterling Entertainment Group in 1998, and alternated between Sterling Entertainment, Gemstone Entertainment, and Ovation Home Entertainment for DVD releases, while sticking with the UAV brand for VHS releases. The company closed in 2006.
