Steven Soderbergh (born January 14, 1963, in Atlanta, Georgia, USA) is a film director, screenwriter and producer. He varies his output between critically acclaimed commercial films and smaller scale independent features. He directed the films Sex, Lies and Videotape (1989) Out of Sight (1998), The Limey (1999), Traffic (2000), Erin Brockovich (2000), Ocean's Eleven (2001), Ocean's Twelve (2004), Ocean's Thirteen (2007), Che: Part One (2008), Che: Part Two (2008), Contagion (2011), Magic Mike (2012) and Behind the Candelabra (2013).
