Texas is a Southwestern state that borders Mexico to the South, Louisiana, to the East, Arkansas, to the Northeast, Oklahoma to the North, and New Mexico to the West. Texas has a population of around 31 million residence (2025) and was one of the major states that fought in the Second American Civil War, in the A24 movie, "Civil War" directed by Alex Garland. Texas was also one of the major states that joined the Western Forces, in a military alliance with California with a forced agreement to protect each other while the war dragged on.
