The Lion King II: Simba's Pride/Home media/Supplements

1998 VHS (U.S. Version)

This tape features unique bumpers reminiscent of the Walt Disney Company Intro and its associated bumpers used on prior tapes, but with new graphics and a proper Feature Presentation screen.

It opens with a long trailer for The Lion King on Broadway featuring Rudee Lipscomb, who had also done several ads for Disney Channel. The proper videocassette / theatrical trailers start shortly after this.

1998 VHS (Canadian Version)

In Canada, the tape's opening is noticeably different. Outside of the different warnings, the Lion King on Broadway trailer was completely scrapped.

The theatrical trailer for A Bug's Life omits the MPAA rating screen at the start, and advertises a fall 1998 release instead of the Thanksgiving date on the U.S. version.

The trailer for The Rescuers advertises a November 24, 1998 VHS release date, rather than its actual January 1999 date. The announcer does not read this out.

A trailer for the cancelled English dub of Castle in the Sky was added to the preview reel as the final trailer before the start of the movie. This trailer also made an appearance on the VHS of Kiki's Delivery Service.
