The Mountain Eagle is a 1926 silent film directed by Alfred Hitchcock. After poor reviews at the time of its screening, the film quietly disappeared and is believed to be completely lost. In later years, however, it has received much interest, now often being described as the most sought-after lost film in cinema history.
