The New Mutants is an upcoming 2020 American superhero horror film directed by Josh Boone. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Henry Zaga, Blu Hunt, and Alice Braga.
The film was intended to be released on April 13, 2018 and February 22, 2019. It was later announced, however, that the film had been delayed to August 2, 2019. In May 2019, it was pushed back to August 28, 2020.
Premise
Five young mutants, just discovering their abilities while held in a secret facility against their will, fight to escape their past sins and save themselves.
