The Out-Laws is an upcoming American crime comedy film directed by Tyler Spindel, written by Evan Turner and Ben Zazove, and produced by Adam Sandler, Adam DeVine, and Allen Covert. The film stars DeVine, Pierce Brosnan, Ellen Barkin, Nina Dobrev, Michael Rooker, Poorna Jagannathan, Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Lil Rel Howery, and Blake Anderson. It follows a bank manager on his wedding week whose bank is robbed by criminals that he very strongly suspects might be his future in-laws.

The Out-Laws is scheduled to be released on July 7, 2023, by Netflix.

Synopsis[]

Owen is a bank manager whose bank is held up by an infamous group of criminals known as the Ghost Bandits. The robbery occurs during his wedding week and certain indicators lead him to believe that the group of bank robbers might in fact be his future in-laws, who just arrived in town.

In July 2021, Pierce Brosnan was cast in the film, alongside Adam Devine, for director Tyler Spindel. In October 2021, Ellen Barkin, Nina Dobrev, Michael Rooker, Poorna Jagannathan, Julie Hagerty, Richard Kind, Lil Rel Howery, and Blake Anderson filled out the rest of the cast. Principal photography began on October 22, 2021, in Atlanta, Georgia, and lasted until December 18.
