1992 Demo VHS

The Rescuers was one of the few Classics tapes to have a proper screener with different previews. The demo trailer on this tape erroneously refers to the film as the sequel to 1990's The Rescuers Down Under.

This printing was quickly taken off of store shelves due to a questionable image appearing for a second during the film, and is harder to find than the revised version.

Features a short from Mickey Mouse Works before the film. Both this and One Hundred and One Dalmatians would feature these.

The original version of the Feature Presentation screen with the deeper voiceover was brought back on this tape and several other 1999 releases, likely due to Beau Weaver not re-recording his previous voiceover for the screen.

The Buena Vista logo at the start is moved to the end of the film on this release, with the thunder sounds that originally played over it removed.
