(The Walt Disney Pictures logo appears as triumphant music plays)

Woody: Sergeant?

Sarge: Yes, sir!

Woody: Establish a recon post downstairs.

Sarge: Code red, repeat! (Jumps to the edge of a drawer) We are code red, recon plan Charlie, execute! (The soldiers jump out of the bucket) Move, move, move, move, move!

(In another shot, an army man opens Andy's bedroom door, followed by another shot where two green army men jump from the edge by the side of the staircase and open their parachutes)

Mark Elliott: Walt Disney Pictures presents...

Soldier: (Puts the binoculars down) It's a...

(Camera slowly flies up as we see Buzz in front of Woody, who is standing on the bed)

Sarge: It's a...it's a big one.

Narrator: The first computer animated feature film...

Buzz: And there seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere.

(In Buzz's point of view, Woody's face suddenly shows up from the right of his helmet)

Woody: Hello. (In shock, Buzz aims his laser at Woody, who is just as alarmed)

(The first prototype version of the title appears, with the text "A Pixar Production" fading in from below)

Mark Elliott: Toy Story. You're invited behind the scenes for a look at the making of the first-ever computer animated film.

Woody: The bed here is my spot.

Buzz: I am Buzz Lightyear, I come in peace.

Mark Elliott: A magical movie experience about the secret world of toys.

Tim Allen: The secret is toys obviously don't move if you see them.

Woody: Alright, everybody. Coast is clear! (Jumps off the bed to fix the baby monitor)

Tom Hanks: We all have faith that since we were little children was that toys could come to life.

Mark Elliott: Woody comes to life through the voice and personality of Tom Hanks.

Woody: Draw! (Points his fingers like guns at Etch, who draws a gun and makes a clicking sound. Woody pretends he was shot) Got me again!

Mark Elliott: He's the most popular toy in the house...

(Bo Peep grabs Woody's neck with her cane and pulls him over)

Bo Peep: Whaddya say I get someone else to watch the sheep tonight?

Woody: Heh-heh-heh-oh, yes.

Mark Elliott: Until an unexpected visitor arrives.

(We see a shot of Tim Allen voicing Buzz on one side of the screen, followed by Buzz in the final movie on the other)

Tim Allen: "Buzz Lightyear to Star Command,"

Buzz: come in, Star Command.

Woody: BUZZ, LOOK! AN ALIEN!!

Buzz: (Turns back in shock) WHERE?! (Woody laughs hysterically) You're mocking me, aren't you?

Mark Elliott: Tim Allen is a superhero spaceman...

Buzz: I think the word you're searching for is "space ranger".

Woody: The word I'm searching for, I can't say. Because there's preschool toys present.

Mark Elliott: Who could replace Woody as the top toy.

Woody: Well, you wanna do it the hard fashion, right?

Buzz: Don't even think about it, (Gets up from the skateboard) cowboy.

Mark Elliott: But until these two get together...

(In another shot, Buzz pushes Woody out of the backseat of the car and land in the street)

(Buzz strains while pushing the toolbox)

(The toolbox falls and crushes Woody, but we cut to Buzz and Woody rolling under the blue car and Buzz kicking Woody into a tire)

Mark Elliott: It's war.

Woody: C'mon! (Runs up to Buzz, and we enter Woody's point of view) You want a piece of me?!

(Buzz punches Woody and while Woody's head spins, so does the camera, revealing Pixar's animation studio as it was back in 1994-1995)

Mark Elliott: Directed by Academy Award-winning director, John Lasseter.

John Lasseter: (Raises his thumb) Alright.

Mark Elliott: "Toy Story" features the talents of dozens of artists and performers.

Woody: These guys are professionals. They're the best!

Mark Elliott: Including award-winning composer/songwriter Randy Newman, who adds his distinctive musical-style fashion.

(We see Randy recording "Strange Facts" for the movie's soundtrack)

Randy Newman: (sings) Strange...facts are happening to me!

Woody: They're gonna move from their house in two days, and it's all your fault!

Buzz: Wait, my fault?

Tim Allen: Because of you, the security of this whole universe is in jeopardy!

Mark Elliott: This holiday season, visit a world.... (Buzz presses the red circle button and two purple wings burst out) where toys have lives of their own.

Woody: He can't fly!

Buzz: Yes. I can.

Woody: You can't.

Buzz: Can.

Woody: CAN'T! CAN'T!! CAN'T!!!

Mark Elliott: Walt Disney Pictures presents...

Buzz: To infinity. And beyond! (Jumps off the bedpost and dives onto the ball)

(Buzz bounces off the ball and lands on a car on the track, but rides down on the track, follows the loop-de-loop, jumps off the car and flies to the ceiling. Buzz does a flip as he falls to the bed and successfully lands to his feet)

Can!

Mark Elliott: Tom Hanks. Tim Allen. "Toy Story"!

Woody: That was...falling with style!

(We cut to the black background. The final text, "Coming for the Holidays 1995" zooms in)

• Woody GULPS as he hides his face below the bed.
• Buzz: There seems to be no sign of intelligent life anywhere.
• In Buzz's point of view, Woody's face suddenly shows up from the right of his helmet.
• Woody: Hello. (In shock, Buzz aims his laser at Woody, who is just as alarmed)
• Andy's toys PANIC as they run to the camera.
• Mark Elliott: Headed for a showdown.
• We cut back to Buzz aiming his laser at Woody.
• Woody: My name...is Woody. This...is my spot.
• Buzz wraps his arm around Woody and dives forward.
• Woody: Oof!
• Buzz: I am Buzz Lightyear. (We cut to Lenny hesitantly shaking) I come in peace.
• Woody: You are a child's play-fact!
• Buzz: You are a mournful, strange little man.
• Mark Elliott: And playing by their own rules.
• Woody: Draw! (Points his fingers like guns at Etch, who draws a gun and makes a clicking sound. Woody pretends he was shot) Got me again!
• Rex: (Slowly walks backwards) I don't like confrontations!
• Woody: Buzz, look! An alien!
• Buzz: (Turns back in shock) Where?! (Woody laughs hysterically)
• (Slinky's laugh is heard in the background as Mr. Potato Head shows off his amputated arm)
• Buzz: You're mocking me, aren't you?
• The toolbox falls and crushes Woody, but we cut to Buzz pressing the red circle button and showing off his wings.
• Andy's Toys: Ooh!
• Hamm: Oh, impressive wingspan. Very nice.
• Woody: Oh, what? What? He can't fly!
• Buzz: Yes. I can.
• Woody: You can't.
• Buzz: Can.
• Woody: CAN'T! CAN'T!! CAN'T!!!
• Buzz dives off the bedpost and bounces off the ball with his helmet.
• Mark Elliott: This holiday season, the adventure takes off...... (Buzz lands on a car with his feet and rides down the car down the track, follows the loop-de-loop, and then jumps off the car and flies to the ceiling) .....where toys come to life.
• Buzz: To infinity. And beyond!
• The second prototype logo forms as the screen fades to a black background.
• Mark Elliott: "Toy Story"!
• Buzz: Watch out!
• Buzz SMASHES through the logo. The toys all SHRIEK in horror. Buzz falls back on the bed, landing successfully on his feet.
• Buzz: Can!
• The toys CHEERING can be heard in the background as we cut to a blue title card saying "COMING TO THEATERS THANKSGIVING".

• (After the Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios logos, we cut to Andy and his friends' feet from under the bed as Andy's mum calls them down)
• Mark Elliott: For anyone who's ever wondered...
• Andy's Mum: C'mon downstairs, guys! It's time for games!
• Mark Elliott: What toys do so, if people aren't around.
• (Andy and his friends run downstairs and close the door. The camera pans over to the toys slowly opening the closet door and walk over to Andy's bed)
• Hamm: Hey, everybody. It's showtime!
• (We cut to a black background with blue subtitles zooming in and fading, the narrator says what's onscreen)
• Andy: Wow! Cool! Let's go to my room, guys!
• Green Soldier: (Puts the binoculars down) Red alert! Andy is coming upstairs!
• (The children's feet is shown running up the stairs, but we cut to Rex and the other toys shrieking as they look out the window)
• Woody: Andy's coming, everybody! (We cut to an overhead shot of the toys scurrying back into position) Back to your places! Hurry up!
• (We cut over to Mr. Potato Head with his left ear gone)
• Mr. Potato Head: Where's my ear?
• (We cut to Lenny walking as Rex's feet run past him)
• Rex: Out of my road! (Smashes into a metal bin) Ohh! (Falls over)
• Andy: Wow, cool! Faster, (Pushes Woody off the bed) make a space! (Puts the Buzz Lightyear package on the bed) This is where the spaceship lands.
• (Woody slides off the bed)
• Mark Elliott: Woody, the veteran.
• Woody: Draw! (Points his fingers like guns at Etch, who draws a gun and makes a clicking sound. Woody pretends he was shot) Oh! Got me again!
• Mark Elliott: Buzz, the rookie.
• Rex: Have you been replaced?
• Woody: No one's getting replaced!
• Buzz: Excuse me. (He presses the red circle button and two purple wings burst out) Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!
• Andy's Toys: Ooh!
• Woody: Oh-ho-ho! Alright! Who else?
• Buzz: You're mocking me, aren't you?

• (Woody ducks under the swinging lamp, and Buzz stands up, only to be whacked out the window as he falls. We cut to Mr. Potato Head and Hamm throwing their cards as they watch Buzz fall)
• Mr. Potato Head and Hamm: BUZZ!!
• (The camera shows Buzz falling into the bushes)
• Mark Elliott: And into the real world.
• Slinky: I think he bounced into Sid's yard!
• Rex: He tortures toys!
• Sarge: (Bursts the lid open from inside his bucket) WHERE IS YOUR HONOR, DIRT-BAG?! A BEST SOLDIER NEVER LEAVES A MAN BEHIND!!
• Mark Elliott: Where the name of the game is survival.
• Woody: I'm lost! And it's all your fault!
• Buzz: My fault? (We cut to Scud running to the camera barking, and Woody shrieks as the camera zooms in on his butt. Then we see Scud biting his pants, until we cut to Buzz looking at the camera from inside Sid's backpack) I've set my laser to "murder".
• Woody: You're a toy! Use your karate chop action! (Presses the button on Buzz's back that causes him to karate chop and pushes Buzz while rapidly pressing the button)
• Buzz: Hey, hey! Stop that!
• Hamm: What's going on down there?
• Buzz: Come in, Star Command. Send reinforcements!
• Woody: YOU...ARE...A...TOY!!! You aren't the real Buzz Lightyear! You're an action figure!
• Buzz: AAAAHHHH!! And you my friend are responsible for delayin' my rendezvous with Star Command!
• Rex: That's the whole barrel.
• Woody: You are a child's plaything!?
• Buzz: You are a sad, strange little man.
• Sid: Hey, where's that wimpy cowboy doll?
• Sargent: Alright, men. Move, move, move, move!
• Woody: There's no place like home! C'mon, this way.
• Buzz: Negative. (Woody yelps as the trunk door hits his butt and pushes him in) Be much safer in the cockpit.
• Woody: What an idiot. (A foot hits the acceleration pedal) Woaahhhh!!!! (Hits the window) Oh!
• Buzz: (Opens the side doors) Grand idea, Woody. (He dives off the bedpost and bounces off the ball with his helmet. At this point, "The Boys are Back in Town" by Thin Lizzy cues up) To infinity. And beyond!
• Mark Elliott: Walt Disney Pictures presents, A Pixar Animation Studios film, the first-ever computer animated motion picture.
• (Buzz lands on a car with his feet and rides the car down the track, follows the loop-de-loop, and then jumps off the car. Then we cut to Woody running to the bowl of cereal while his forehead's on fire)
• Woody: We have danger!
• (Buzz pushes Woody out of the backseat of the car and land in the street. Then we cut over to Woody and Buzz running for the moving van)
• Mark Elliott: This holiday season, take off on an adventure...
• Woody: This can not be happening to me!
• Mark Elliott: Beyond your imagination.
• Buzz: Sheriff, (Closes his wrist communicator) this is no time to panic.
• Woody: This is the perfect time to panic!
• Mark Elliott: It's the story of two partners... (The toolbox falls and crushes Woody, cutting over to Bo Peep and the other toys at Andy's window shrieking in horror) discovering what they're made of.
• Woody: (Lifts up the toolbox) I'm alright. Catch this! (Throws the string of Christmas lights to Andy's window)
• Bo Peep: Ha!
• Slinky: (Grabs one end) I found it, Woody!
• Buzz: Next stop, Andy!
• (Buzz runs into Woody while riding R.C.)
• Woody: Oh! To infinity.....and beyoooooOOOOND!!!!
• (Buzz ducks as R.C. drives under a yellow car while Scud chases him, but we see a closeup of Woody's teeth chattering as Buzz's rocket ignites. Then we cut to a black background, with the letters spelling out "TOY STORY" until the 2nd prototype logo zooms in)
• Mark Elliott: "Toy Story"!
• Buzz: Watch out!
• (Buzz smashes through the logo and we cut to Woody at Sid's window)
• Woody: Buzz, would you get up here and give me a hand? (Buzz's amputated arm is tossed up to Woody and he laughs. As Woody laughs, the screen fades to a black background. Subtitle fades in, saying "COMING TO LIFE THANKSGIVING") That's very funny, Buzz. (Gets frustrated) THIS IS SERIOUS!!

• Hamm: What's going on down there?

• Sargent: Alright, men. Let's move, move, move!
• Mark Elliott: Non-stop action....
• Buzz: (Closes his wrist communicator) This is no time to panic.
• (We cut to Scud running to the camera barking, and Woody shrieks as the camera zooms in on him)
• Woody: This is the perfect time to panic!
