Under the Blaze is an upcoming hand-drawn animated short film produced by Awartsy Animations. The film is set to continue the studio's tradition of blending classic hand-drawn animation techniques with contemporary digital elements.[1]

Plot[]

Under the Blaze addresses the pressing issue of child labor in Pakistan, aiming to shed light on this critical but often overlooked problem. The story revolves around the harsh realities faced by many children, serving as an eye-opener to the audience.

Production[]

The film was announced by Awartsy Animations on June 7, with a teaser image of its story's hard copy shared on X (formerly known as Twitter). Awais Shaukat, the original story writer, illustrator, and co-founder of Awartsy, has been instrumental in the creation of the film. Rafhan Shaukat, co-founder of Awartsy and the film’s story reviser, hinted in a series of tweets that Under the Blaze will tackle the significant issue of child labor in Pakistan, bringing much-needed attention to the struggles faced by these children.[2]
