Whiskey Tango Foxtrot is a 2016 American comedy war film directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa, and written by Robert Carlock. Based on American international journalist Kim Barker's memoir The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the film stars Tina Fey, Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Christopher Abbott, Billy Bob Thornton, Alfred Molina, Nicholas Braun, and Sheila Vand. The film was released on March 4, 2016.
